Description
I do not know if this would be a decent trade in real life but I would want to know from leafs fans or flames fans what they think of it. No hate please.

I think leafs would take this because gio is one of the top defence man in the nhl like top 10 with about 25% cap retained as well as a third.

Calgary would take this because you are getting a legit top line guy to play with Johnny and Mony as well as a solid young defence man. I think the 2nd rounder might be to much?

I could see why this trade would kinda make sense for both teams but the value could be off. Giordano is a good defensemen to get here but he's probably a little old for what the leafs need. They aren't going to compete for a cup for at least 2 years so aging gio might not be a fit. Maybe a trade cantering JVR and Hamilton might work better for Tor at least.

Yea I could for sure see this happening but as a flames fan I wouldn't wanna give up on Hamilton after one season so maybe the trade could look like

JVR

Anderson
2nd rounder
3rd rounder
(Anderson lead the ohl in points by a defence man).
