Good luck trying to win a cup with those centers lol. Most contenders have a better centre than Kerfoot at 3C lol

Buying older players while giving up young pieces is never a good idea and you've done it a couple times here

Montreal says no, Domi is worth more then that measly offer and they know it

Im sure they could put Domi at 2C and bump Kerfoot down if needed

Hes going all in, and I kinda like it. Yea, hes sacrificing the future, but all is forgotten if you win a cup

True, but still. This team lacks too much depth. Wingers aren't that good besides Kane and Marner, bottom 6 is below average. Defense is average, Gudas is a 3rd pairing shutdown defenseman playing top 4.

Compare this team to Boston, Tampa etc. Yikes

A 7th round pick conditional on a Cup win?
That’s the goofiest thing I’ve ever seen in here i think 😂😂😂

U might be able to pull a couple of these off,
but it’s not a video game dude

Some interesting ideas though

Yea, on paper it doesnt took too good, but this team has a ton of championship/playoff experience.

Kane has 3 cups
Wilson has 1
Shaw has a few
Clifford has 2
Pesce doesnt have one, but went on an ECF run last year
Muzzin has 1
Gudas has 1
Buff has 1
Fleury has 3

This team knows what it takes to win and thats something really important come playoff time

And a bottom 6 of

Engvall-Kerfoot-Shaw
Cllifford-Spezza-Bracco

Is still solid.

I cannot believe we've reached the day where a Pesce-Nylander 1-for-1 trade ISN'T criticised beyond belief , despite this being for reasons other than everyone agreeing on his value.

Hawks didn't have great centers behind toews when they won. Vermette, brad richards, etc. Just put kane on the second line and he was singly handedly dominate

yep... trade away a core that will be an elite team for the next 10 years for a bunch of declining old guys that might win in the 2 years then be stuck with **** contracts as try to rebuild. Absolute trash... some thoughts are better not being stated in a public forum

If it wins you a cup or 2, all can be forgiven

'ifs'.... FFS!

Go ask the Blackhawks IF it was sticking with the young core that got them Cups or was it trading away Toews Kane Keith for veterans that got them rings
