Islanders fanbase keeps saying they'll match any offers for Barzal yet the only way you could fit him without giving away too much assets' at 6.5M$. Them offersheet gonna be paired with Aho money.

Really not that hard to do, move Leddy and Hickey and team is fine.

There is also a possibility Ladd goes on LTIR

Don't want Dermott, not moving Casey and Clutter trade is unnecessary.

I made an acgm yesterday on the isles. Toronto is in bigger cap hell. Islanders have 3 contracts they could pay to move gain 14m in cap space and actually gain production... Toronto doesnt really have that option.

I don’t understand what the 1st sentence means. And no, Leddy wouldn’t help us, it just means that we’re giving up picks AND an important UFA for a mediocre overpaid defenseman.

Better options for the Habs out there. Unless they are giving leddy away I don’t see why they would.

Hate to do it. Not sure if Isles management will either. But with Pulock/Dobson/Mayfield on the right side long term, I think Bode Wilde (who fell into their lap at the draft btw) is expendable, should've found a way to get him in the Pageau trade tbh instead of one of those picks but whatever. If someone would take Komarov for free, I'd prefer that obviously. Bellows is a tougher pill to swallow, but I think his upside is limited. He'll get more opportunity in Dallas too, which is another team that has scoring issues.

Sabres pass on this trade. They can just resign Larsson to play the same role Czikas would at a much lower cap #
