I'm not sure exactly how Dobson's progression went this year, but that's a great offer.

He'd be a great fit for the Islanders, but I just don't see a way we could afford him. I'd give up Dobson for him tho

I dont see that happening. Dobson is a solid defensive rookie for the islanders and has massive upside. They wont move him. It would be like the leafs moving sandin. Just aint worth it.

in 2 years I see Dobson being a solid 20+ point 2way defenseman for the islanders. He just needs to find his confidence and the points will come.

Also sorokin will probs be signed to a 1 year 925k deal and Islanders will asses if he is NHL ready. Cause signing him to that is risky cause just because he did well in the KHL does not mean he will succeed in the nhl

If we assume VAN wants to do this and we'd somehow have the cap space for it, I'd do this in a heart beat. Losing Dobson would suck, but we'd still have Wilde. And honestly, I'm fine with Pulock and Mayfield being our Top 4 on the right side if it means finally getting Barzal his sniper.
