The German system is blowing up producing all kinds of elite talent.

shakir is so up and down with scouts. ive seen a scout say they would not even take him with their 7th rounder.

if im sharks, im realistically going for Bourque, Khusnutdinov, and then Andrae or Savoie

If reichel is available I think he'd be a good one for them. I don't know their D prospect pool but if they want a LHD, O'rouke would be a great pick. I like the Foerster option too but for forwards Reichel would be 1st for me. Also Evangelista would be a nice late 2nd pick!

Realistically i dont see Bourque being available at 28. Im not a fan of Marat personally. Emil is a bit small for mh liking.

A lot of scouts say Foerster has 40 goal potential in the NHL and hes a RW which we need so badly. But yes Reichel is a very strong option.

Some scouts also say Shakir could go in the 1st. I really like his game as he can do it all and doesnt have any glaring weakness. Hes been in the Khl already so could jump into the NHL rather quickly.

Our D pool is our strongest but we will likely lose one of Burns or Simek in expansion and Vlasic has been rough. Merkley, Pasichnuk and Knyazev coming up but id like one more strong D prospect. You can never have too many.

Apparently has a pretty lethal shot. It seems he got half his goals on the PP so the question is can he be effective 5 on 5? That's tough to judge. Reichel seems the more complete 2 way player, guaranteed NHLer. Just depends on what kind of risk they're willing to take with the pick.

Having said that lol, the stupid sens went with the 'safe' Lazar pick and passed on Mantha despite a 50 goal Q season... Whoops. So I'd flip a coin haha

Yeah sharks have usually gone the safe route until the last few years. Goldobin was bust and Merkley is getting time to develop and is looking like a steal so far but i see your point. I wouldnt be at all upset with Reichel or Peterka at 28 but Foerster just has the potential to be explosive. Sharks scouting is often high on 2way talent but the offense was so bad last year i wouldnt be surprised to see them take the risk for Tyson.

Shakir Mukhamadallin is a bold move. I haven't watched him but scouts say he is a terrible decision maker and his hockey IQ is very low to non existent. I think he won't even be on several draft boards. Maybe could be scooped up a bit later. Topi would be a nice pick there IMO.

Same. My list goes Bourque, Khus then Reichel. The D men arent going to be drafted where they should so dont reach

Maybe Shakir is a reach but I think Topi is a smart pickup.
