This is a clear overpayment. #8 in this draft is already a very good value, Risto with all his warts is still the top 4 of RD, which is good in physical play and can help in PP, Mittelstadt had some development problems, but he could still be a good NHL player in the future.

Boeser - certainly a very solid winger for top 6, but it doesn't cost that much
Sutter - cap dump
Demko - he put up numbers worse than Ullmark and maybe we will lose one of them in the expansion project, I would not even givesecond round for him and would find a backup for Ullmark in a free agency

So really not a cap dump at all if Vancouver keeps him. He's gone when they need cap space. Should be Buf 1st this year and Jokiharju for this trade as @Leafs_and_sens_fan says.

That guy thinks Mittelstadt is worth a 1st+. His opinion doesn't mean much to me and it shouldn't mean much to you either.

Buffalo easily declines. Ullmark > Demko , Boeser - a traumatic guy that we don’t really need, we need to find a center for our shooters in the person of Skinner and Olofsson, and not just another shooter in face of Boeser.

Because this is an ordinary deal with fair value, but he argued to me that Ottawa would not trade Tierney for Montour and our two not-so-bad prospects, that Tierney costs much more than Montour.
