Habs accept. Flames cringe a little while accepting. Pretty good for both teams, except the Flames don’t need to trade Monahan

Actually I think MTL declines. Danault is a very valuable piece for our team and I don’t see why would trade two good forwards for one slightly better forward.

Monahan is a proven number 1 center that can help Suzuki and KK develop. Bennett will help with the depth hole. I don’t see any reason we don’t do this
