Building a roster for Vancouver this trade is excellent.

Grzelcyk ideal 2nd pairing dman and cost effective.
Bjork current solid 3rd line LW with 2nd line potential.
Frederic would be a monster 3rd line centre behind Petterson and Horvat.

This my friends is how you build a Stanley Cup Contender.

Buffalo traded O'Reilly for depth pieces how'd that work for them we also already have a 3rd line center in Gaudette so we have no use for Frederic. You cant trade sh*t for a young stud winger

So you have no idea or have seen Grzelcyk play hockey before?

That being said fair enough on Gaudette. However, move him to RW or Frederic to LW.

Also adding Bjork. 2 ready NHL players plus a very good Prospect in Frederic who plays a mean game not enough? Maybe not, but not too far off.

A trade for Boeser starts with either Mcavoy or Carlo and that's just a fact, you can't try and sell me on depth pieces and an iffy prospect

You seem like a stats guy and yes on stats and flash, Boeser trumps all three players offered. However, these players offered will contribute and play an important role as cost effective players that are required to win a cup. You don’t like the proposal which is fine but this what a trade for Boeser would look like imo. Maybe not from Boston but from any other team. Also, seems like people here always trash Bruins prospects which is funny because year after year the Bruins seem to be in it.

Is more a top2 LHD ? If no, MTL decline, we don’t need bottom pairing LHD, we need a top2-3 LHD.

Boeser vs McAvoy or Boeser vs Carlo ++

Except you forget they have all of that in Hughes/Edler, Gaudette, and Ferland... The whole point of trading Boeser is because of cap concern is what I understand from the rumors.

McAvoy is worth like 8x what boeser is worth.

This is a fair proposal that I don’t think works. Ditch Frederic and add draft picks. I think a first works. Grzelcyk isn’t moving, so I would say add a more cap friendly option like Lauzon.

1st + Lauzon + Bjork/Kase is the kind of deal it would take. Get McAvoy out of this conversation. That’s just ridiculous.

Mcavoy is probably out unless Vancouver adds but Carlo is what Vancouver would look at getting back

And that’s fine. It kills the deal though. The bruins would be looking to add to their core, not change it around.

Sweeney wouldn’t offer that. If that is the cost.
