Why are you playing Sandin over Ceci?

An 18 year old will jump from the OHL to the NHL Playoffs and be able to cover for 37 year old Spezza's slow feet? Plenty of players lit up the Q or OHL and struggled for years before making the jump to the NHL and you are asking an awful lot of a rookie.

And how is Matthews cleared? COVID doesn't just go away after 14 days in everyone you know. The Toronto Maple Leafs declined to comment, but no one disputed the story.

Well if you look at the Official roster post he made it on the roster.

Sandin put up the same amount of points in 20 games, Ceci played almost every game. Ceci is just a waste of cap space at this point.

Honestly I prefer Engvall to play the bottom line than him. But I did leave him as a healthily scratch so he can still be played.

Plus I wanted Johnsson to play so I had to put someone on the LTIR to be cap compliant.

Until you realize that he is one of the backbones of the penalty kill and even as bad as he is even steve dangle said that it was evident the leafs were worse without Ceci. You can't say 160 minutes of killing penalties is a waste of cap space. Also all you seem to focus on is points. Also Babcock was a defensive coach which is why to him the best players were Ceci and spezza... the leafs can't seem to play defense. Other wise they would be more successful in the playoffs. Ceci is no star player but he is by no means a waste of cap space.

Clifford can be scratched - Mikheyev will be 2LW/3LW.

That is fair and I understand your reasoning all I was saying is that he was an average player at worst and above average at best not complete trash like some people say

100% False.
Robertson, the 18 year old that jumped from the OHL is a minus 1.

Toronto is tied 2-2 to a 9th seed and their defense has been exposed. Only a few dumb selfish shots for the empty net particularly by Nyquist and a crap penalty call in overtime are the reason Toronto is still alive against the 9th seed. They have yet to win a playoff series yet. And their fans are as insufferable as usual--which is truly arrogant considering they have be rebuilding since 1967. What happens when the Leafs play a club that has both a decent offense and defense.

Matthews got cleared....okay....i said COVID doesn't go away in everyone in 14 days you know...sounds pretty clear it wasn't a statement he will or won't play: just a question of where the source of him being cleared was coming from. He's finally a +/- plus player in the playoffs. Talk smack after he wins a Cup--that should shut you up for another 53 years.

Yup...Toronto exposed. Terrible roster construction. No defense. 3-0 to a team that isn't exactly an offensive juggernaut.
