Hawks decline, we can just as easily LITR Seabs if he's done playing (which he isn't) and there is no way in hell we trade Nylander for Johnsson.

You forgot to sign Michael Nylander, might as well sign Sami Kapanen too. And trade for Jason Robertson.

The only reason for proposing this 'give-a-way' is because Leafs are in a bind for cap space. If anything these two are equivalent. If you'd followed AN while with Americans and with Sabres you'd understand why he was traded. Meanwhile Johnsson was not only named the AHL MVP...but is a 20-goal scorer with the Leafs....

That's exactly why I don't think Toronto and the Wild aren't very good trading partners. The one center you have that would fit our needs (Matthews, Tavares is fantastic but a little too old for what we need to be looking for) is not leaving Toronto and especially not for just Dumba.

Except CM doesn't do much to help the Leafs where as Hyman is a heart and soul guy. Also Rielly is MUCH better than MD

If anything these two are equivalent. Have watched AN both with Rochester and also with Sabres. Meanwhile Johnsson was not only AHL MVP...but a 20-goal scorer with Leafs....

If you feel that way, please keep Johnsson.

Seabrook isn't going to be on LTIR...he's already practicing again.

how low do you value Hyman like jesus christ. You know Coleman yeah thats Hymans value rn a 1st and a good prospect. 21 goals in 59 games and is making 2.25 mill thats a steal for many competitive teams. Mittelstadt for him would be buffalo robbing us.

Rielly for Dumba is the hardest pass. Dumba is not the solution the leafs need.

Chicago has no need for Johnsson and got robbed acquiring Nylander so they pass.

Johnsson was on pace for 15 goals this year before the big season ending injury resulting in knee surgery...not easy to come back from that for skaters. Furthermore, Johnsson's advanced stats away from Matthews are plain and simple bad. He is a product of Matthews. No team is going to be offering much more then a 4th round pick to take him on and his cap hit and betting he can return from injury. Hawks DEFINITELY do not want him and no way would we pay any team to put Seabs on LITR when we can do it just as easily as the Leafs. You are talking about the Hawks who are top 5, if not top 3, wealthiest teams in the NHL.
