You're right, there's a huge hole at center that should be filled with the return we get from Brodin or Dumba. I'd love Boeser, but not for Dumba and definitely not for Dumba+. Sounds like the Canucks want to save cap space anyways which is why they are exploring the idea for moving Boeser, so adding cap like they do with this trade doesn't make sense for them.

The Boeser trade is a royal joke, Whole reasoning of trading Boeser is to include Eriksson's contract, Plus Benning wants to resign Markstrom, Toffoli and Tanev this trade he can't do it. Both Dumba and Donato make too much Vancouver easily declines that offer.
