Well it's good that you realized Lundqvist has outplayed Grubbauer over the past 2 seasons, a lot of people haven't. The lias trade makes sense. The rest of it isn't really great unfortunately.

I personally think Gorton should sign Strome and DeAngelo to two year contracts each. This should keep the cost of both contracts down to under $5 million. DeAgelo will still be a RFA when his contract ends and with Strome a 2 or maybe 3 year contract can be re-evaluate upon its completion. With the cap not increasing, I don't believe NYR offers Fast more than a 2 year contract at no more than $2.5 million.

I would have loved if Colorado acquired Lundqvist like 3-4 years ago, but now that ship has sailed. No reason to make this trade.
