mikheyev is more important than guys like kapanen so we will match anything less than 3.6. if you offer him more, your RFAs are gonna ask for more money. nichushkin will be asking for 5mil

well toronto can't even if the wanted to. the offersheet is pretty much guarenteed.

i think the avs would be willing to add a 5th to the deal just to get mikheyev at a lower caphit and to beat out any other offersheets before they come in.

The return on Zadorov is underwhelming. I think we can get at least a 2nd in 2020, and probably a 3rd or 4th as well.

I like the Mikheyev OS, and in fact I suggested the same in an AGM last month. But I think we'd have to go higher than $3.25m to tempt him away. Remember that he has endorsement deals in Toronto (hence the nickname Soup from a soup commercial) so even at a lower caphit Toronto can probably match his overall take-home income.
