That top-6 can bring them to like round 2 maybe, but I think they are cooked after.

Top 4D is also pretty good, but I agree that the depth might be a problem and the goalies are a question mark

The thing is.. top-6 gets you to playoffs, bottom-6 wins you something in playoffs

They're a solid team, and probably get at least to the conference finals. But do you find the cap spent on Doughty, Palat, and Koskinen gives you enough value in those positions? For example, changing Doughty to Pietrangelo gets you $4.5M, which is enough to upgrade you from Palat to Kucherov with $300k leftover. That $300k plus your cap space almost takes you from Koskinen to Bishop. I don't think you give up much on D to get a major top 6 upgrade and better goalie combo.

I know, this is not the best team possible but a team of random players put together
