Oof that Abdelkader buyout is BRUTAL. Gotta think we just bury him in the AHL and hope he gets the hint.

Kerfoot is getting traded for at least a 2nd rounder. We are not paying 2nd to trade him for bad AHLer.

I'm going to venture a guess that this post is a troll job. There's little other explanation as to why these trades are so weighted in favor of DET.

We're not buying out 6 years on Abdelkder he'll be buried in GR. No thanks on Lundqvist and Dipietro isn't NHL ready yet. Juolevi is meh no thanks. None of these deals help Detroit or the other teams.

No it wasn't meant to be. These trades are in favor of Detroit because they are taking on Cap

It'll be because there are realisitically 4-5 teams that can accept cap dumps. If you're dumping a contract this autumn, you're losing that trade.

These trades clear up cap room for the other teams so it does help them. Wings get good prospects in return.

I think Dipietro is a great goalie prospect. I seen him play live and he's incredible. Juolevi is a underrated prospect. Wings can take a chance with him. I hear you on Abby but I just want him gone at this point.

So how does the Vancouver trade benefit Vancouver? Dipietro is their future Goaltender and Juolevi is bust material. J T Miller isn't the problem in Vancouver Eriksson and Sutter are. And no freaking way are the Ranger dealing Kravtzov to move Lundqvist who wouldn't even waive his NMC for Detroit anyways. Dubas isn't moving Kerfoot+2nd for Turgeon+4th Kerfoot actually has value.

DiPietro is their future Goaltender doubt Benning moves him especially for a bunch of scrubs.

That trade with VAN is sooo terrible it's not even funny. The Canucks give up their best forward from last season (who has an awesome value contract btw) plus two good prospects for a pile of not much other than cap space?! Seems a little counter-productive for them.

The cap is 3.5M which is great value for mid-6 center. It wouldnt be a cap move if he is traded.

For sure, not a fan of that particular trade with Vancouver. Eriksson or Baerstchi or Sutter packaged with picks and/or prospects is the way for Detroit to go.

Vancouver needs to get rid of cap. JT Miller might not be the problem but do you want to trade Brock Boeser? Because one of those guys is getting traded to clear cap I think. And a team isn't just going to take on cap without getting something in return. I would rather trade TJ Miller and give up some prospects than trade Boeser. And who would trade for Eriksson and Sutter? Not me.. I also heard Kravtsov isn't on good terms with the Rangers. He's not happy with his playing time. And Lundquist doesn't have a no trade now according to this site. And what team is going to want to trade for Kerfoot with his cap hit now? He's not that good.

Boeser will get traded 100 times before the Canucks send away Miller.

"Helping teams in the cap trouble" doesn't mean taking their best players, it means taking on garbage contracts in return for top picks or prospects. That the reason the Leafs dealt Marleau and a 1st to the Hurricanes, not Marleau and Nylander.

If you're set on getting Juolevi and DiPietro from Van, it'll cost taking on Eriksson as well

JT Miller might of had a good season but he's not reliable enough. I think he's a guy that sounds overrated by a lot of people.
