Alright so before everyone comes out of the woodwork to **** on this AGM, I envision Tampa like Chicago was when they traded Panarin to us. The contract for Cirelli is the contact that Joe Smith predicts and it was his original idea that they would have to trade one of the RFAs so I figured id play around here. Also, CBJ finally get lucky and win 1OA after losing a close 5 game series to Toronto. I can't wait to see all the criticism

In all reality though, I think it'd be a lot of fun to see those lines for CBJ, even if Tampa would say no to the trade IRL

Robinson was Columbus 2nd best forward (analytically) last season and had a very good possession number. He’d be someone you’d want to hold on to. I also don’t see Tampa making that trade nor do I see Grigorenko playing on the 4th line.

You either have to take back a contract, Johnson Gourde etc, or trade back nothing but NHL ready elc , Foudy, Texier Bemstrom....

Tampa wouldn't do that and they'd definitely send a bad contract the other way if they did.

Yeah, um, no. As badly as I want to be able to steal Cirelli, Tampa Bay has other contracts they can get rid of before they dump him. There's other opportunities for us that might be found (Tyler Johnson might be poachable, for example), but keeping Cirelli is going to be a "do whatever we can to make it happen" priority for them.
