Vancouver wouldn't do it, but the value is solid. They'd probably want Girard or at least Graves in addition.Probably creates one of the deadliest top 6 in the league.

Vancouver should say yes. Gives them a good RHD piece that will be top 4D by next year. And 2 other great pieces

I think the value is good here as well, but I feel like they'd want an established top 4 guy back not a prospect.

You mean a guy they’d probably have to re-sign soon for a lot of money or a guy they won’t be able to afford? The only guy that could fit their cap space and has term is Pesce. Would Carolina do a 1 for 1

Boeser is so overrated. Not a fan of giving up 3 young valuable pieces for him

That Eriksson contract really has them in a bad spot right now. I doubt it cause they wouldn't do Nylander for Pesce straight up and I see Boeser as a player of the same ilk as Nylander. But that'd be a perfect partner for Hughes as a guy who is a little more defensively sound and can play in the top 4 signed to a terrific contract.

I wouldn't either. Especially when you look at how long Girard is signed to a team friendly contract. Boeser is gonna look for big money in a couple years.

Vancouver doesn't need pieces, they need value. Jost would get lost in the revolving door that the Canucks bottom 6.

I'm guessing Benning's ask would by Byram

I guess Boeser won't be in Colorado if he's expecting the best defense prospect in the league in return.

Not saying the trade would be 1 for 1 or that Sakic would even consider, I'm just saying that where the Canucks are right now, they likely wouldn't give up a 23yo 30-40 potential goal scorer for multiple lesser pieces

Big no on trading Zadorov to a division rival we're likely to face in the playoffs. A 2nd is also a meagre return, as he can probably fetch a 2nd + 3rd/4th. Winnipeg would have to overpay for him if they really want to force the issue. Zadorov's transition defense is ideally suited to playing against the Avs so I would be extremely reluctant even with an overpay.
