I think the Canucks would rather target a more defensive RHD, someone who can play with Hughes.

Take out Anderson and the Canucks 2nd rounder and I’d say it’s pretty fair.

Canucks would likely have to find a way to shed cap somewhere else to make it work though. DeAngelo won’t be cheap

That seems like a lot for NYR to give up. I think Boeser for Deangelo is pretty close as a 1 for 1

Brett, if we're being perfectly honest. Deangelo alone is an overpay. He's outperformed Boeser on the ice over the last 2 years despite Boeser playing with Pettersson and Deangelo playing with Staal.

With that in mind, the whole structure here doesn't really work. But there's really no spot for Brock regardless, and judging by you not even attempting a lineup, I think you know that.
