There is no evidence that Dubas wanted Miller last summer. Healthy scratched multiple times over the last two seasons by two different coaches on two different teams. I would think that by now most people would understand that Miller's great advanced stats are only because he has always been astronomically sheltered and can't handle even moderate levels of QoC. I would be fine with having him on the first pair if the Leafs' were trying to finish last and win the lottery. Almost 4M AAV for the next two seasons for a guy who is a 3rd pairing/press box level player.

Thank you, kind sir. Stats aren't very advanced when you only look at one without relation to the others. Corsi looks real nice until you look at zone starts, TOI, competition etc. Miller is not a solution

Also no evidence or reason for the Sabres to be interested in Johnsson. He feels no need for them

Good point. The Sabres have holes at C, RW and LD - not LW.
