2020 offseason

Description
Been orking through all the teams to figure how it all works out. This is where I'm at with the Sharks so far.
Always looking for feedback. I think the Sharks could maybe find a willing trade partner with the Oilers given their abundance of defenseman and Puljujärvi being the pain in the a$$ he is.

Minnesota doesn't touch that. Stalock is way better than Jones & Zuccarello is overpaid but not bad in any means

As mentioned in your other AGM, a 2nd + 3rd is probably fair for Jost, but I think we'll be looking for a much earlier 2nd than our own 2nd back. The chances of a 2 picks in the 60's amounting to anything are remote so we may as well just keep Jost around as cheap depth. Offer the SJ 2020 2nd + 2021 3rd though and you've got a deal.

Interesting.keep talking, I assume you are saying Ferraro is better, but some of the analytics suggest otherwise. Jones is on the second pair because I didn't see it as a good decision playing Jones and Merkley.

Wasn’t trashtalking but they are set on the Left side with Vlasic Simek Ferraro

Not a great trade for the Wild but it saves them 1 million for the next 4 years. Wild need a experienced goalie to pair with Kahkonen for a few years and though I like Stalock he isn't a goalie I want to send out for 30 games a year. I believe a well rested Jones will bounce back a bit. Finally it allows Wild to protect another player other than Zuccarello in the ED.

No I didn't think you were talking trash. Not much in the analytics suggests Ferraro is very good, so I thought a upgrade would be in need.

I recall the discussion but I must have remembered it wrong, thanks.

Since I've already committed the SJS 2020 2nd to the Oilers trade, are there any additional pieces I could add to this to make it work in your opinion?

rookie year very young D on terrible team (this year), and never a consistent D partner, he is a stupid hard worker, will 100% be on the team this year.

To me from what I've read he may need more time in the AHL if for no other reason, just to get his confidence up. Jones gives Sharks the option to send him down.

I guess another pick, like a 2021 PIT/WSH 3rd, or SJ 2021 4th would do it. But that's quite a few picks for SJ to move and I think it would work better for both teams for you to just move the SJ 2nd + 3rd.
