IMO none of them because Strome is a good player and you need good players to win cups.

Still not sure what to think of him. I've watched a bunch of games and you can't deny the talent, but his skating is so freaking bad...

Lol. No he's not. He's a secondary player that compliments the core players. He'll never be a core guy. & his skating is terrible. He'll be nothing more than a Tyler Bozak for his career. Hawks fans need to get over him, he's nothing special.

I'd do that trade without Roslo, substitute Roslovic with something else like a 3rd and I'd do it.

If Roslovic is involved it would have to be a 2nd instead of a 1st with late pick coming back or something

I dont think Buffalo would give that much for strome. Really hasnt shown enough to give up a 1st and a former first in Mittelstadt, who is having similar trajectory as strome.

Don't think there's a scenario where Strome is worth more then Nurse.

Nurse for sure has room to grow, but he's proven a lot more than Strome at the NHL level. I would think you would be adding a fair amount to Strome to get Nurse, not the other way around

Strome to Minnesota makes the most sense, the rest of the trades are off. The Tampa trade doesn't make sense just because the 2nd year of Palat's contract is problematic. EDM won't move Nurse, and WPG won't move Roslovic.

I like the thought process, but do you think we should look at trading Saad instead? Value wise we receive a lesser return. However, one must think Strome signs for slightly over half of Saads current AAV. I remain skeptical of signing Saad long term after the last contract fiasco.

I think the Hawks might be able to get Saad locked in at around $5M honestly, he hasn't been producing consistently, and he'd probably take a little pay cut, especially with a flat cap. Strome would come cheaper, but for shorter term, with his upside, it could be much more costly down the road.
