Don't need either. Got Ritchie to play on the LW and Roy is gonna cost way more than he currently is (if he keeps improving).
Rather keep the pick, Bjork and Vaakanainen. Lauzon/Clifton can fill that 3RD spot and at a cheap price.

They're also both FAs next year with Krejci, Kase, Kuraly, Carlo, Chara?, Rask, Halak.

Yeah, pretty unrealistic but thought it was a power move so tried to sense the lay of the land...

Like the creativity of the trade. Gotta agree Vaakanainen and Bjork stay.

Why insist on keeping them when that top 6 defense is already set for years and Iafallo is levels above Bjork?

Bruins see Vaakanainen in the top-6. There is a good possibility Krug does not re-sign. Chara could only play one more year after the end of these playoffs. I’m ok with Bjork as part of a package for Iafallo but not with Vaakanainen. Also Cassidy is a big fan of Bjork and coach has a say in the lineup.

Why would the Kings want to trade Iafallo if he is levels above Bjork ?

LA has a lot of F prospects on the way. Like a lot. Also they "seem" to be on different pages for an extension. I heard that somewhere don't quote me tho

Its certanily creative, but for the price, the bruins definitely say no. Its just an overpayment that the bruins dont want to or need to take

Other than that: Solid deals, but just give debrusk a bit more money and another mil, and bjork gets a couple 100k more

I would have to say this trade is more than fair for the Kings, but both sides say no. I think they prefer to hold onto Iafallo and Roy for this stage of their rebuild. Bruins are also giving up too much I feel like, this is a nice package for the Kings. Lot of depth heading their way. The idea is great though, this is something different

he is definitely not levels above Bjork. Is he better than Bjork? Yes, but Bjork's production is going to be increasingly better. There's a reason the Bruins traded Heinen this year, and that's due to Bjork taking his spot
