No way the Wings will ever trade Larkin unless it’s a heavy overpay. And Abdelkader had 3 points in 49 games, he won’t make the team let alone be on the 2nd line

Larkin is the future of Detroit. Having said that, there is absolutely no way the Oilers touch this. Bouchard is the future of their back end, and production wise, Nuge is not that far off from Larkin

So basically 3 years pf Larkin for 2 years of RNH and RHD Evan Bouchard. Detroit has no sue for Bouchard he would be on the bottom pairing in Detroit. Take far more then just RNH and Bouchard for Larkin anything less then massive overpay for our future Captain is totally unacceptable.

Oilers wouldn’t listen to that offer. Nothing against Larkin fantastic player but that’s two huge core pieces out of oilers organization.

First off the 2nd round pick is going to the wrong team, Larkin is worth more then just Nudge and Bouchard. Not moving Larkin without a 1st coming back in the deal.

And those 2 pieces alone don't get you Larkin that's a steal for Edmonton.

As an oilers fan I wouldn’t see a reason to do a 1-1 with either bouch or nuge. Nothing at all against Larkin just makes no sense from oilers perspective to do.

Exactly. We can argue back and forth who’s the most valuable pieces but end of the day All players involved are more value able to current team so let’s just forget this idea completely and try something different. Lol

Why would Detroit do this? If they need more RD they would go after Drysdale but they don't. Detroit has 2 of the best RD prospects in the league atm. Then you have they trading their 1C for a #2LW? Overall this is pretty bad

Nugent-Hopkins has actually outscored Larkin over the past 2 seasons. Larkin is good, but he's no superstar.

- Nuge's contract ends in just one year vs 3 for Larkin, but re-signing him at ~$7M shouldn't be a problem for Edmonton. Advantage: Larkin, although moreso for Detroit than Edmonton
- Larkin is 3 years younger, so he has more prime left. Advantage: Larkin.

Larkin clearly has more value than RNH, but not at the cost of Bouchard who is Edmonton's 1RD of the future.

I like this one, real balanced out. But I doubt the wings would trade Larkin, they are trying to build around the guy.

When you add in draisaitl or Connor well trade you Larkin, that's how untouchable Larkin is
