Going to have to give up more than that for Lindholm. For comparison, the compensation for an offer sheet with that value would be 2 1sts a 2nd and a 3rd.

Wish we could get Lindholm for that little, unfortunately it would most likely take at least Alexander Nylander and 2 1st round picks, but it would be totally worth it.

Actually from what I am seeing on:

    http://www.generalfanager.com/draftpicks/offersheets

An offersheet of 5,500,000 a year would fall into the "$3,755,233 to $5,632,847" range which would be one First and one Third Round Pick.

The range that puts you into the 2 First Round Picks, 1 Second and 1 Third Round Pick range is $7,510,464 to $9,388,080.

I would also say, I think the Ducks would match a 5.5 mil offer in a heart beat.

Just noticed it was for 7 years thus for the offersheet it would be 7.7 AAV since its more then 5 years. In that case it would 2 First, 1 Second, and 1 Third. Seems foolish I team would go more then 5 years on an offer sheet meaning they would giving up more picks for less money.

No way would Lindholm sign a $5.5 million offer sheet, He will easily get around $6 million per from Anaheim.
