Strome's production over his 2 years as a Ranger (regardless of Panarin) is better than what Stastny has put up over the last 2 years in Vegas. On top of the fact that if they chose to resign Strome for 1 year, the amount would easily be less than what Stastny makes next year. So in that regard, it makes more sense to keep Strome for 1 year than to go out and get Stastny for 1 year.
If the Rangers deal Strome and Georgiev, I think they prefer Long Term assets. The 1st Rounder you offered is nice, but they each can probably get a combination of 2nd's and/or a Prospect (and less expensive). As excited as I am for how quickly the Rangers rebuild has gone, I don't think they want to give away assets for a one year player, just yet. One more year to ramp things up, and they could consider these moves.
