Created by: Sidstick87

Initial Creation Date: Jul. 9, 2020

Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

This is a RE-DO of My Cap Friendly Team from the other day ----- "THE PENS 20-21 OFF-SEASON - DEPTH- DEPTH- YOUNGER LEGS AND MORE DEPTH"
{It was really long bc I'm an Arm-Chair Addict + w/ my A.D.D. it's a bad MIX, lol} ~~~~ https://www.capfriendly.com/armchair-gm/team/1780302

** - I am fixing it bc......
1A] ~ I used a "FREE" Cap Buy-Out on Jack Johnson & There is not going to be one (even tho it's BS)
1B] ~ Put Jack Johnson in AHL - (Helps w/ Depth & Cap)
2] ~ League min will be $750, k
3] ~ I put Juulsen & Lafferty in AHL - (both would get claimed)
4] ~ PLUS Added the "Annual Anaheim Ducks Yearly Trade"

***** >>>>>> 3 ~ TEAM TRADE "Break-Down" <<<<<< ***** ~~~////// [PITTSBURGH - CAROLINA - EDMONTON] \\\\\\~~~ ***** 3 ~ TEAM TRADE "Break-Down" *****

[Pittsburgh PENGUINS]
Get :
~ RW- M. Necas #88 ~~~~~~ I'm a HUGE Necas fan. IMO, he could "1 DAY" be a Top NHL winger & playing w/ Geno could get him to his full potential faster.
~ LHD- H. Fleury #4 ~~~~~~ The next "Stolen D-man" to have "The D-man Whisperer" (Gonch) make him into the next Schultzy, Pettersson, Marino here.

[PIT] loses : ~ G- M. Murray #30 / C/RW- E-Rod #9 / LHD- J. Riikola #50 / 22' - *CONDITIONAL* - 3rd Rdr [PIT]
- I will always love Murr's but w/ Cap staying Flat & having Jarry - we have no choice. Altho hate trading E-Rod & Sully will never let Riikola play anyways.
______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

[Edmonton OILERS]
Get :
~ G- M. Murray #30 ~~~~~~ IMO, this is what EDM needs desperately a Real Starting Goalie + only 26yrs old + Playoff & Cup winning exp.
~ C/RW- E-Rod #9 ~~~~~~~ Another speed Forward, thats also versatile & a RFA.
~ 20' - 3rd Rdr [CAR] ~~~~~ Needed after trading away 2nd & 4th Rdrs in 20'.
~ 22' - 3rd Rdr [PIT] ~~~~~~ *CONDITIONAL* - On gms played by Murray w/ his past small injuries. (Altho he has avg. about [50] gms per yr)

[EDM] loses : ~ C/LW- RNH #93
- This would be a tough loss but [EDM] has 97 & 29 as "The Big 2 C's" & the NEED is a real Proven Goalie. + could sign a Hoffman / Dadanov / Toffoli to replace the points of RNH.
______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

[Carolina HURRICANES]
Get :
~ C/LW- R.N.H. #93 ~~~~~~ RNH is such an underrated & great player in NHL & bet he'd flourish in CAR as a 2nd Line C or as a Top Line LWer. + Having [20-93-16-11] Down the middle - Best in NHL.
~ LHD- J. Riikola #50 ~~~~~~ Riikola is a younger bottom pair guy that never got a fair chance in [PIT] & Could be 3rd pairing or #7 until Bean is ready.

[CAR] loses : ~ RW- M. Necas #88 / LHD- H. Fleury #4 / 20' - 3rd Rdr [CAR]
- Tough losing Necas but having young Forwards like - Aho / Svechinikov / Foegele / Suzuki / Bokk / Reese / Puistola / Geekie / Drury / Cotton / Mattheos .....
& losing D- Fleury but [CAR] also has - Slavin / Skjei / Gardiner - all signed on Left side & Young D like - Bean / Honka / Keane / Kaski / Fensore all coming soon......
I'm thinking [CAR] will still be ok for the future, lol. (Holy Stacked Prospects) + [5] picks in 1st [3] Rds in 20' ~~ Losing the latest of those [5] for RNH would be ok?

~~~~~~~~~~ ***** NEW Roster Adds - {Traded For "OR" UFA Signing's} & REASONS WHY I TARGETED "New" PLAYER ***** ~~~~~~~~~~
[UFA Signing] : L/RW/C- MIKAEL GRANLUND #64 ~ 1yr @ {$3.75m}
~ Always thought that Granlund is a 10 X's more skilled Simon type player (that can score) & would fit Perfect on a line of- 59 - 87 - 64. *Zucker gets former teamate to sign a 1yr Prove It Deal here*
[Trade] : RW- MARTY NECAS #88 ~ {$863,} @ [2] more yrs
- This is the off-season "NEED" for Pens - A youngish Top 6 to 9 RH-RWer that can also play on Left wall of PP #1.
- I love this Kid so much & just think he could be a more physical Pasta type RWer. A perfect guy to push Geno these last cpl yrs, ++ Geno could get Necas to a level he'd never reach in [CAR].
[Trade] : LHD- HAYDEN FLEURY #4 ~ [RFA]
- A perfect LHD - 3rd Pairing Guy w/ Tons of Un-Tapped Talent on a low- cost controlled Contract that will get Gonchafied.
[Trade] : G- ADIN HILL #31 ~ [RFA]
-I will never understand why this dude isn't talked about more as being a Future Top Goalie BUT I love me some Adin Hill. IMO- a Goalie Trio of - Jarry, Hill, & DeSmith would be a perfect mix.
[UFA Signing] : RHD- CODY CECI #25 ~ 1yr @ {$3m}
- This just seems like a GMJR typical signing of a still only [26]yr old Dman that could play better in a Penguins D-system (Gonched)? *Ceci could help former 1st Rdr - Fleury being partners on 3rd pair.
[Trade] : RHD- NOAH JUULSEN #56 (old #58) ~ [RFA]
- Something about a RH- D-man that wears #58 and is also a French Canadian, LOL [Letang Jr.] - But seriously "If" this kid is healthy we could have another Marino type steal here.
[Trade] : LW- MAXXY JONES #49 ~ {$863,} @ [1] more yr
-This 6'-2" - 220lbs "Kid" is a built like a Brick Poo House - That can skate as fast as Letang. His motor never stops -he'll go 150 mph, threw a wall, run over players in his way, just to get to a puck.
JONES is also skilled enough to play middle a middle 6 role soon. Reminds me of smaller Tom Wilson but not a dirty player.
[Trade] : (Prospect) - RHD- HUNTER DREW #27 ~ {$793,} @ [3] more yrs
- Only seen Drew play 2 or 3 times but was impressed every time I watched him. He plays a lot like Manson but more physical, Defensive D-man type, & will run u over with out a thought.
Is also a very smooth skating & smart puck mover w/ an NHL type hockey sense.
PIT
  1. Hill, Adin [RFA Rights]
Additional Details:
~ Bf [PIT] moves Murray, We "MUST" get a 1B type Goalie on a lower Cap Hit - w/ Jarry getting the Starting spot for the 1st time. Hill could be a 1B to Jarry & still have the vet DeSmith as the #3.
ARI
  1. Aston-Reese, Zach
Additional Details:
- Most thought I could get more for ZAR but..... IMO, getting a younger 1B Type Goalie on a controlled contract is fair.
2.
PIT
  1. 2020 3rd round pick (CAR)
Additional Details:
{Needed for Start of 3-Team Trade}
[Pick is going to EDM]
    4. 2022 3rd round pick (PIT)
    Additional Details:
    *CONDITIONAL*~ 22' - 3rd Rdr [PIT]
    - If Murray Plays - "LESS than" [55%] or "LESS than" [45] gms in each of the [20'-21'] & [21'-22'] Regular Seasons.
    ~ Not many 26yr old 2-Time Cup Winning Goalies in NHL. [EDM] gets a proven winner in net & in room. +maybe gets McJesus some playoff wins?? Murray & Koskinen would be a Top Goalie tandem.
    ~ E-Rod's a fast Forward - can play all 3 pos. & on all 4 lines. (Hate Trading him)
    4.
    PIT
    1. Fleury, Haydn [RFA Rights]
    2. Necas, Martin
    Additional Details:
    - This is the #1- "NEED" For [PIT] a Top 6-9 RH-RWer - on a controlled (lower) Cap #, Is good 5 on 5, & can play the Left wall on PP #1.
    + I love NECAS & IMO- he "could" 1 day be a Top 10 type Wing in NHL.
    ~ FLEURY never got a staring spot in [CAR] but IMO the former 1st Rdr would fit the Pens D-System perfectly & be a good / cheap 3rd pairing guy.
    CAR
    1. Nugent-Hopkins, Ryan
    2. Riikola, Juuso [RFA Rights]
    Additional Details:
    ** PART #3 OF [3] - TEAM TRADE **
    EDMONTON ~ PENS ~ CAROLINA
    *[Break-down in Description Part]*
    ~ RNH makes [CAR] scary AF down the middle w/ Aho - RNH - Trocheck - Stall. With RNH & Trocheck being able to play wing just as good too.
    ~ Riikola is a good & younger #5-#7 Dman (look @ his lytics) & can play both sides.
    5.
    PIT
    1. Juulsen, Noah [RFA Rights]
    Additional Details:
    - This is a risk bc of his Migraine's & Head issues but everything I've read - Juulsen looks to be healthy as ever & actually came back to play [in AHL] bf Virus hit.
    - Maybe [MTL] gives him a fresh start
    - Maybe gives the Pens the next Marino type Steal?
    MTL
    1. Björkqvist, Kasper
    Additional Details:
    - The former 2nd Rdr isn't rated highly as a Prospect but with his ability & motor. IMO- he will be a 10yr bottom 6 guy in NHL.
    6.
    PIT
    1. Drew, Hunter
    2. Jones, Max
    3. 2021 4th round pick (ANA)
    Additional Details:
    *CONDITIONAL* - 21' - 4th Rdr :
    - Only if Bjugstad plays in at least - [80%] "OR" [66] gms in 20'-21' Regular Season.
    ~ Been a M. JONES #49 fan for 3-4 yrs & have NOT traded for, for a while now "BUT" I just absolutely love the way the dude plays & goes 100mph every shift!! + his size, speed, & physical factor on a line w/ Tanev would be Scary.
    ~ H. Drew - The former 6th Rdr, lower end Prospect is at best a physical - #7 or 3rd pairing "if" he gets to NHL.
    ANA
    1. Bjugstad, Nick
    2. Ruhwedel, Chad
    Additional Details:
    - Bjugstad is still a really good Top 6-9 Center or RWer, just has had some Bad Luck w/ the Sports Hernia injury - {If Healthy} he could be a steal for [ANA]
    - Ruhwedel is the best RHD- #7 in NHL & a Very Serviceable RHD - 3rd pairing. Will not notice him (in a Good way).
    Idk, thought it was fair too bc of Juulsen's injury factor
    yes it is fair. idk why that dude is complaining about it lol. the trade is likely the swap of two busts. looks fair to me
    He was awful this year. And he’s been poor in the last 2 playoffs. His career QS% is league average. He’s not worth Necas.
    He has had an off yr this yr But he is a big time Goalie obviously but last 2 seasons of Playoff [16] gms - 2.66 GA% & 9.08 SV% is Good for Playoffs, Now I see ur an ANA fan so u mite not kno about Playoff hockey?
    This trade was based on Murr's having a great playoff run and Prob signing for around $4.5-$5.5per ????
    term matters too , so in this if he signs for 5x5 or 5x6 then I think the oilers take it
    I don’t think MTL wants to trade Juulsen yet. Also Nugent-Hopkins is worth more. Other than that, great job! I commend your effort.
    IMO, even if Murr's gets to Finals or Wins another Cup & has a great playoff run in net.... I still think the very very most he gets will be $5.5m - $6m per.
