Arizona doesnt have the cap space or the need for a 1 dimensional defense in Risto. He will be a very bad fit to their system.
Vatanen is a RD that played the left side this year. He is also an OFD and Buffalo needs a shutdown LD.

Arizona can easily flip Demers somewhere. I look at Arizona as a team that needs that back end talent, as OEL takes a bulk of mins trying to play shutdown. And I know they need shutdown but they need someone who can try and play top four mins, I feel like Vat could do it though it wouldn't be the best option

Hogberg was much better than Hutton last season and I'm pretty sure OTT will roll with Nilsson and Hogberg. If Nilsson retires they'll probably just sign Anderson for another year and lean on Hogberg.

Is Johnson going to waive his NTC to come to this dumpster fire of an organization?

He will if he values his career beyond his current contract. Being given a chance to solidify a 2C spot and secure powerplay time with Eichel and Dahlin will boost his numbers far greater than he would in Tampa or Seattle.
