I get that his contract might not be the best, but why Krejci? Guy had a pretty good season.

Edit: I’m assuming you mean Contract. If I were you, I’d include that in the title.

Okposo is the Sabres worst contract
Skinner will most likely bounce back to his 30ish goals per...
which still makes him overpaid

But Okposo is playing a bottom6 defensive role now
That keeps him stuck at the 15goals & 30pts ceiling
Plus he’s 4yrs older than Skinner at 32

His 6mil per contract is the one we’d dump in a heartbeat if there’s a CBO

Skinner has a history of being a roller coaster player; 1 season up, the next season down, but eventually he'll flat line and not go back up. Meaning the Sabres are stuck with a 9 million dollar 20 goal scorer under contract for 5+ more seasons.

you should try to factor in term left too. Like Reinhart only has a year left and since Buffalo missed the playoffs he'll never play another game under that same contract.

Yeah... but that bc he’s always played with garbage Centers like he did this season

Moving forward, he’ll either be with Eichel or Cozens
I’d expect 30goals minimum moving forward

Yea, I was going to do an edit, maybe try looking at 3 contract seasons remaining but...it's hard to judge how great a contract is without getting an example size, such like Ottawa's Chabot; is 8 million a fair deal or a steal or a overpay...only time will tell.

Bobrovsky's contract is worse than Stralman's. Imagine paying Bobrovsky (a goalie who relies on quick reflexes) 10M dollars for 3 years after he turns 35.

I assume you're talking about Coyle's next contract because his current one is really good. It's not that bad either, but not the best.
I would have Moore instead.

Yikes if Weber is your best contract

Yea, didn't know Moore became a bench warmer suddenly. And as for Weber, the Habs only have Druoin, Weber and Price signed long term and Weber has one of those "fake" contracts the NHL banned, he'll only receive 1 million in real cash per season for the last few seasons he'll play and he'll retire before it's over, like Kolvie, Zetterberg, Hossa, Luongo did.

That's bad. That means there will be a recapture penalty.

Lol. Marner (94pts last year, and on pace for 90 this year) is not the worst contract on the leafs. Definitely Ceci this year. Next year is Johnsson. $3.4 mil for 21 pts was BAD this year.

Also, I’d make a case for either Hyman or Rielly as the best contract.

This ACGM is only considering player contracts with 3 or more seasons left. The Marner contract with the cap price freeze will be an anchor for a team with 2 superstar centers already getting crazy money.
