That’s a lot of draft capital for oilers to be trading since they already gave away 2 years of seconds. Jp is valued from oilers perspective as a young top six forward. Valuing any less makes no sense from oilers perspective. Any team interested would be interested for that role otherwise jp wouldn’t be interested in signing. Double edge sword. I don’t think trading him is really an option for holland and he’s stated bringing jp back is of higher priority than trading.

it would've made a bit more sense if you didn't include Alzner in that deal but the trade is now even more lopsided than without Alzner in the deal
