Why are Sabre’s fans now trying to trade for Ian cole?

Because we need a defenseman with little term to play the left side. I don't think Colorado has room for Cole with Girard,Zadorov,Byram, and Graves on the left.

It’s just a weird trade, values fine but I think avs keep cole with his 1 year left and move zadorov instead in a futures deal

Rather keep Cole. He's perfect in his role and brings a lot of playoff experience, even if a little overpriced but it's just for 1 year. Johansson would be a good deadline pickup for a mid-round pick though.
