Description
wild have some cap room to play with for a year if theyre smart, they solve goaltending, and both players easily waive imo. stl is not capable of matching. sens should take it because it matches their timeline. nyr can pay tony and are reasonably freed up for the future.

If they are willing to move Steen, Allen, and Bozak they could fit both

no way they can move them without cap repercussions that would allow them to match

Why not? If they really wanted to they could send them to teams like DET, OTT, LAK along with picks to free up cap. They have tons of options it's just up to them how far they are willing to go to keep Dunn

they would still have to give up cap for those teams to bite imo unless they grossly overpay, and even if they pulled it off theyd be in horrible cap shape the following year

Hank might be a consideration for the Wild, but Wild are spilling over on defense.

Well your MIN trade is clearing 5.8M in cap moving Lundqvist and Staal without giving up any picks so if you think that is reasonable I don't see why STL couldn't do something similar. Allen and Bozak are still good players too so it won't cost much, if any at all, to move them elsewhere. I think it's doable

I would agree accept the wild are starved for goaltending and stl doesnt have the assets/cap situation to make a similar move
