Both trades make sense. Devils need a vet D on the left side to guide Smith and potentially Bahl. Sucks losing Palms but Kase can play right wing. Senyshyn is a gamble but he also plays right wing where we are razor thin. It's a play for the long term.

All day. A+. Two very small things, I think they have to give Krug an extra year term for him to take 7 per. I also don’t think there’s any chance Grzelcyk takes that, but if you add half a mill, and take off a year, I think it gets it done.

Thing is that I don't think NJ accepts it and same for Palmieri (the contract). Not enough money for that term for both DeBrusk and Grzelcyk. Otherwise, fine.

The one NJD fan that commented thinks they accept.

If Palmieri gets traded at the deadline, there will definitely be a conditional 1st attached if he resigns with said team. I think its so common now for selling teams to do that for protection of losing them for more than the return of just a rental. I think it's a good trade, but i still think Palmieri could either get a 1st alone or at least a conditional 1st. 20-25+ goal scorers should maybe get a little higher return, especially on his cap hit.

It's not a sign and trade. Boston signs him right after trading for him like Pageau and NYI....

Yeah and i'm saying The devils will want a conditional 1st if he does that. I'm a little confused, why would the devils let him go for a rental price when there's a chance he signs long term after getting dealt? I'm saying that 2nd should, at the very least, be moved to a conditional 1st if he resigned with the team that traded for him.

I'm not a Bruins fan, my profile pic is Ziggy Palffy in a Kings jersey lol. That's also Rick Nash who was way more accomplished than Palmieri

you gotta be kidding me hahaha. Look at Nash's last 3 years with the Rangers and then look at Palmieri's last 3 years... And the ages they would be traded at. My guy, I don't wanna argue cuz I feel bad but come on...you cant tell me Nash was worth a 1st and Palmieri isn't haha thats just nonsense.

The Palmieri trade isn't the worst but I have seen better. But for that price, I think Devils keep Palmieri

An excellent job my friend.
If you wanna know the ironic take here, i think that the Moore/Celharik deal doesnt even need to get more than a 6th back lol

Don’t think Senyshyn needs to be added. Its fair value without. Agree that Palmieri would want more money no mater where he signs.

Agreed
I have explained to people that last year it was said that he was going for a decent prospect and a 1st, and nobody offered that. So its gonna be less this year. I agree that Kase and a 2nd is more than sufficient. I just didnt wanna say it cuz i know a lot of people love to just argue with me on that lol
