Hawks say yes....they'd probably give you a 4th to take him if were being 100% honest here.

I don’t think he is serious, sell Miller for a 3rd, Montour for a 2nd, he could get more for those guys and we all know Smith is a little capdump

Serious as a heart attack. Montour is returning a lot, not all of it is proven but they dont need proven players coming back. Miller's value is all over the place on this site so im just meeting everyone in the middle

McNabb is worth a lot more than a 7th dman and a 6th.

Still unwilling to make any moving down trades; especially with Ottawa as it would give a division rival picks 3,5, and 8

This team isn't making the playoffs so I can't back it either. If Tyler Ennis is our 2C we are in serious trouble.

Dahlstrom isn't worth bothering with. I'd rather keep Miller and just have Borgen be the 7th D.

If we need Smith for some apparent reason we would likely acquire assets versus give them up.

Ennis at 2C is the same idea as Johannson there they have played it before in their life so it is worth a shot. Just not an idea I am comfortable with. We need someone that has played primarily center at the NHL level and has had recent success doing so. The point in acquiring this center is too insulate Cozens so that he is not forced into a role he is not yet ready for while at the same time providing scoring depth throughout our lineup. We very likely will be in a position like we were one of the last two years with this plan. Either Cozens gets forced to take on the 2C role and it is sink or swim right away like happened with Mitts or We force round peg onto a square whole with Ennis just like Johannson and our 2nd line is largely MIA for the majority of the season
