Description

Players drafted since Shanaplan started 2014. Yes they have hit home runs with their first overall picks but still do not draft well in the later rounds. IMO a lot of misses
thoughts?
They have 9 picks from rounds 4-7 this year. I hope they can find some diamonds in the rough
They do a great job of signing euros and undrafted players (hopeful for guys like Brazzeau and Hoffenmeir)

i mean, it's way too soon to tell on about half of those drafts, and the earlier ones took place under a different head of scouting/GM so it's a weird mix of draft minds over that stretch

IN order to talk about if theyve improved there has to be mention of the great 5/6/7th round picks theyve made in the 5 years previous.... then you can be critical or indifferent. Odds are there is no difference in the success rate of the later picks
