Most I would give is a 4th for Johansson this offseason - and that's only if COL can't find someone better for a good price. I really don't like the condition especially since COL could make the WCF even without Johansson

I don’t see it. What would you envision his role on the Avs being?

I think there's a consensus agreement between most Avs fans on what should happen this offseason. The only thing I can even remember somewhat disagreeing with you about is the Rykov-Kamenev swap, but that's such a minor move it doesn't even matter that much and I would be fine with it anyway lol

Do we actually disagree on Rykov/Kamenev though? I think the ideal Kamenev return is a mid-round pick, which I think you do too? The Rykov trade was just an idea to try to see what sort of return would be possible if we moved Kamenev in a 1-for-1, and I figured that a 7D would be a logical piece to acquire in return if we're going for a player. We're pretty deep at forward but shallower on D beyond the top 6 + Byram/Timmins.

He wouldn't really have a defined role. I think Mojo is the kind of player that can play any position on any line, basically a good filler player in case of injury or just extra depth when fully healthy. He was pretty good for boston last playoffs too. I agree he not the best fit but if we can't get someone like Palat/Killorn/Reinhart/any other 2nd line wing then he could be a decent backup option

Well I guess we agree on that too

I'd imagine that our lineup will be looking really stacked next season so it's a valid question to ask about where Johansson would fit in. And I agree that there's no natural spot for him when you look at our likely roster:

Landeskog ---- Mackinnon ---- Rantanen
Top 6 FWD ------- Kadri ---------- Burakovsky
Nichuskin ------ Compher ------- Donskoi
Calvert --------- Bellemare ------- Kaut

(Namestnikov/Jost/Nieto/Wilson/Kamenev not included).

That said I agree with @moli92 that it would be useful to have a player like Johansson as a plug-and-play depth guy. Sakic showed this season that he was willing to acquire an extra forward even if it meant pushing someone like Jost or Nieto out of the lineup, and I'd envisage that he wouldn't be shy about doing it again if the price was right. Johansson would be an ideal deadline pickup due to the fact that he can play anywhere in the lineup, which means that you can plug him in without needing to shuffle lines too much regardless of who he's replacing.

That hole in your top 6, MoJo could be a cheap to acquire player to fill it for 1 season. He would put up 40+ points playing with Kadri and Burakovsky

If we only wanted a 40 point forward for that role we could bump Donskoi up or resign Namestnikov. But we have the capspace and assets to be aiming a little bit higher than that.

As a deadline rental Johansson would be an interesting player though for sure.
