I dont have a big problem with the Brodin/Saad trade value-wise, but the Wild already have way too many left-shot forwards so this deal only makes their situation worse.

The swiss leage MVP who we just signed over as a free agent. He played in the same league as kubalik did (Kubalik was MVP last year). The next european free agent for the hawks. We've had a ton of sucess in the past so hopefully it works out. His numbers are about the same as Kubalik's were when he was over there (but they play a different game). Pius had 30 goals and 20 something assists in 50 games last year. A bit over ppg

Trading Zuccarello would solve a lot of problems for the Wild...

I'd hate this trade as a Jets fan.

For sure. I like the idea of Strome, but not at the cost of Ehlers. Although...imagine Ehlers and Kane on a same line? yikes

The hope for both sides would be a 6x6 on brodin and somewhere around 3x5 on saad

That trade would be horrible for us.

My God! You certain want Brodin. 5 players, 2 draft picks for 1 guy. Not an efficient use of assets. There needs to be more people coming back.

I like to think Ehlers as an untouchable, but the Jets are deep in wingers. Who is expendable? Laine? Ehlers or Connor? On this short list, is it not Ehlers?

Connor and Ehlers are signed up long term, but resigning Laine will destroy the Jets cap. Somebody will be moved.

Someone might need to be moved, but I don't think it needs to happen any time soon. I'm holding out hope that Roslovic can be that 2C or that the jets will make a move to get a 2C that doesn't include moving one of their top wingers. With Buf off the books and the potential of a Little retiring, I think the jets have the room under the cap
