Studnicka at RW - I was wrong

Description
Well sounds like Cassidy and Co. have changed their mind from earlier in the season. During today's video chat Cassidy talked about Studnicka getting a look on the RW saying "we are going to give him a look on the right side"

I know I've been saying that they won't play him at RW, but hey looks like I'm wrong.

Also made it sounds like he has a chance to stick if he outplays others.

With that here is what I'd roll out w/ Studs

Its hard not to put a Bergeron comp on him because he plays such a similar game. IDK if Studnicka reaches the level of Bergeron (that's a tough pair of skates to fill), but I could see a Bergeron-Lite with him. No one really saw Bergeron as a #1C, he just kind of ascended to the role and IIRC Krejci was the "#1C" for a few years before Bergeron took over.

was just gonna say that, this may not make sense but patrice bergeron wasnt even supposed to be patrice bergeron and studnicka was drafted higher and probably a beter prospect so he could be, i know thats very confusing so i hope you know what i mean lol

due to bergerons concussion history. and who was here those years. but once jumbo joe went this was really bergerons team going forward. its absolutely amazing to think that bergeron, krejci, and now studnicka are all 2nd round picks. should just trade those first they typically dont work out

Not surprised, with 37-46-13 at the middle, he should start on the wing. Hopefully he (or even Senyshyn) gets the RW3 spot over Ritchie/Wagner/Kuraly if there's an injury.

Ya, this team would be way better off without their two best players (who they picked in the first round).

I know it’s only practice but did you see the rush Stud had with Bergy and chara during their scrimmage this morning? Like I said it’s only practice but he looked like he fit in

Ultimately I still want Studnicka at center.

I think if it had to come down to pasta not being able to play, cassidy plays (or at least tries out) bjork at 1rw first before studs. Depending on bjork's performance, then they would throw studs there. I also think it was just to see how stud would look playing rw in a whole, since there's a lot less forwards being right shot than left shot on the roster. Nonetheless, it's always exciting to have hype around a rising star.
