Danault, Kk Armia and Lehkonen contracts are all light. Can’t see any of them signing for that.

Max I gave any of them is

Armia no more than 4000000
Lehkonen no more than 3500000
Danault could get 6 but not to play 3rd line center so he either takes the discount to stay or he walks in FA.
KK I think takes 3.5 for 5 years then gets his big payday. He still has a lot of developing to go. I would go as high as 4.5 though not much more until he proves to be a top line center consistently, remember 5th is deal would be signed after just his 3rd season and this year was very much a bust.

Kk is light? You mean the same guy that was just sent down to the AHL after 1 full NHL season.

I agree his contract is about where it should be if he steps up next season and shows improvement. However he only played 34 games this season because of injury and was not at 100% to start the season due to off season surgery. So saying "after almost 2 full seasons" is incorrect.

I think the Devils accept this offer. Maybe change the 2nd to either your own or Chicago's.

It would probably be Chicago's then just knowing MB he would value our own pick more even though it is only one spot.

Habs pass. They can either bury Alzner in Laval or buy him out. Useless move to lose Mete and a 2nd rounder. \
Habs can find a better way to spend $8M on a player.

KK played 36 games this year, that's not even half a season this season.

I'd say it could even be less.
