As a small «f» SJS fan I'll gladly take Joseph along with a 2021 5th for a 2021 3rd

If Killorn waives, you can even keep the 2nd, Buffalo takes it, huge "if" though

you guys are kind of screwed.

I hate offer sheets and I think actually most GMs in the league do so too, but I could see a guys like Bergevin actually offer sheet for one of your RFAs.

If you offer Sergachev that contract. A GM can offer 4m x 5 and it costs them only a 2nd round pick. Would I give a 2nd round pick for Sergachev. Absolutley

For 4.5 m of Cirelli it would cost you a 1st and a 3rd. Most teams who don't have a very hight pick would absolutley do that.

They should adjust offer sheet values

The player has to sign them though. Will Sergachev go back to Montreal? 4-4.5M offer from Montreal will be taxed heavier than Tampa. I’m not saying that Bergevin will or won’t try but it isn’t a 1:1 match especially when you factor in the winning culture, weather, etc.

i feel like people forget that the player has to sign the offer sheet. just like last year im sure every team would have loved to sign Point for what hes making now, but even Point said he will not sign an offer sheet if presented to him

Your way too light on money to the 3 big RFAs here.

And I dont see Johnson or Killorn waving to go Jets or Sabres.

If these guys actually like being in Tampa they are not going to sign a sheet for 250,000 more or 500,000 more the money will end up being a wash. I could very easily see teams offer 6 for 5 years though and then that would be worth signing

However they won't have to pay for a team to acquire Killorn... he's a very reliable 2 LW

The big problem is you need Johnson and Killorn to waive their NTC and that could be trouble considering they would want to go to a contender where they could maximize their output and that leaves trouble for the lightning.

Tampa quickly declines the Killorn, Johnson and Joseph trades. All have far more value. Shattenkirk isn't being re-signed, Rutta will and be cheaper. He was a very good partner with Hedman before his injury. Serg will get a little more but Cirelli and Cernak are pretty close in value.

Killorn has a 14 team m-ntc, no need for him to waive. Johnson has seen his usage decrease and he has to know that he has one year left tops in Tampa before his contract becomes a 20 team m-ntc after next year. One could easily see him working with Tampa to go somewhere he wants to go rather than 20 or 21 possible options next off season.

Easy no from Tampa, Killorn has more value than Jost and Tampa has no real need for Jost anyway.
