I'm not sure thats enough but if you are offering as a Pittsburgh fan it would be rude to say no. Just to let you know Ericsson's and Franzen's contracts are already up it might make more sense to sign them as free agents.

Can't wait till we get a 1st for either Murray or Jarry and everyone on here can ridiculously undervalue the next player we have on the block

Murray returns a 7th and Gudbranson costs a 1st to move.........stay tuned for more great player, trade and cap analysis on capfriendly.

i have seen so far good and bad trades for both guys. Some penguins fans are even suggesting a 1 for 1 where toronto sends Kapenan and Pitts sends either Murray or Jarry. Could work, but i think toronto would have to add, unless they insist its fair.

Lol the majority of CapFriendly is severely undervaluing Murray but I had a Penguins fan try to convince me yesterday that the Red Wings should offer sheet Murray and give their 2021 1st and 3rd to Pittsburgh.

I agree. The pens are best off trading him to a playoff team that needs a goalie and has some cap space. Do you think the Avs would take him?

what would u say would be a fair deal for either murray or Jarry involving kapenan. And as for extending either of them what do you think will be the range. More than what freddie currently costs, less, the same. Either way if freddie does not perform well Dubas may explore looking for a new starter.

Jarry would probably be $2.55 million for 2 years. If Murray has a good playoffs which I think he will I'd say he takes $4.4 million for 2 years. I think for both of them they'd probably want a draft pick with Kapanen. I'd take Kapanen and a 3rd for either one of them

I could see Dubas doing that. Probs would work on a longer deal with either them but yeah it works.
