You want to take away our penalty machine who doesn't play D and hasn't improved since his rookie season elite speed but only scores when he accidentally misses the goalie's chest on his 5 break aways and give us AA? Ok I'll take your money.

Not very rational trading away a guy you just gave up two 2nds for, who has top 6 potential, for a 4th liner after he's only played 8 games for you team...

People really need to settle down shipping out AA so quickly damn

Personally I’d rather keep russell than add wood not even including AA in that decision kinda just makes confused. Russell doesn’t need anything attached to him to move if looking for cap space. He’s owed less than half his hit and is capable of playing 2&3 pair on either side I actually think right now he carries a fair bit of value.

Disagreed. Despite Russell's low salary, his cap hit is a major hurdle for almost all teams. The cap is an issue for all 31 teams. Shedding cap will cost you assets if the asset you're dealing isn't quite good. Can't say that of Russell.

Owners like the panthers im sure several others will be having an internal budgets... those teams will value his contract

They're looking to drop expenses, not add them...

They'd probably take Russell of your hands if you take Matheson of theirs lol.

It wouldn’t be to Edmonton but they could take russell and move Matheson to a team like jersey.

No one is taking Matheson with that term...they're not gonna pay up to get rid of D and then acquire another meh D to replace him...that's not how it works.
