Devils don't want Johnsson. We already have Kuokkanen and Nolan Foote at LW looking to break it. We have far greater needs on the right side of our team as a whole.

Kapanen = Myers in terms of value. Flyers are not trading Myers tho

Flyers are thin on RD and have like infinite wingers so no they wont do that even if its an overpayment

I don't think the isles trade dal colle. he is very much liked by the staff with a very cheap contract. never know with them though

Myers ceiling is a top pairing dman. He is big and skates well. I'd put him as the 3rd most valuable dman on the team behind Provorov and Sanhiem.

Close to an even deal Myers for Kapanen and a low-ish 1st.

Myers plays a much more important and NEEDED position and game for BOTH teams.

And as much as I love him, thanks to Sami, Kapanen is a pt producing 3rd line winger on an offensively orientated team. But offense and forwards isn't something either TOR or PHI lacks.

Saying all that, its not a move PHI makes, as they don't need to, unless TOR overpays even more. If TOR came and offered Kapanen, their low-ish 1st, and one of sandin/dermott/liljegren its a definite overpay but is probably closer to what PHI would need to move Myers
