You give us you’re first rounder and add some stuff to our side, we can grab Askarov.

He's looking to be backup in MTL starting in 2021-2022.
Seems unlikely, MTL doesn't really have another interesting goalie prospect

I don't see any reason to move Primeau at all. He looks great and realistically his age fits perfectly where he can start easing some of the workload on Price gradually in a year or two. The fact that we don't need to rush him in is also ideal for his development and removes the uncertainty of where Price's replacement will come from.

This wouldn't make sense. Primeau is our only stud goalie prospect and we dont really need wingers. Draft capital and top end prospects would be the only way to get him. Imo

Primeau looks good, but not worth a top 10 pick and more. He needs to play more than 2 NHL games first. His AHL state aren't anything crazy either that would warrant the hawks giving up that much

My point is unless it’s unrealistic, we aren’t moving Primeau

Understood, just making sure you didn’t mean for Kane and being 100% serious.

So essentially Primeau & Quinn for Askarov & Mitchell. Hmm. I guess it fits our needs. It’s completely unrealistic, but I’d do it if Mitchell can be a #1 defenseman.

Sabres need all the help they can get after hitting 10 + years of no playoffs

Even giving up Mitchell is wayyy to much for an unproven guy
