Eichel and Matthews are more complete players than Mcdavid and Draisaitl.

The order here is pretty wicked.

I think this is actually a solid list,
there are a few that might need some adjustment (Yamamoto isnt a top 15 RW yet, Nasty Nuge isnt a LW, Marchy and Huberdeau switch, move Drai down a bit), but all in all good job!

Suggestions? I have some opinions about certain players others may not agree with but I feel this is a fairly reasonable list.

I don't think that balances out 120 pts a season. Matthews and Eichel dominate but not in the same way that McJesues does

Nuge has converted to LW now will only move back to C if there's an injury.

Pettersson is already a top 5 C in the league

He is though , he’s extremely underrated and should have been considered for the hart trophy this season.

I'd argue he is neither under rated or over rated

Sure he is a great offensive talent but he still wasn't over a ppg on a good team and had meh defense. He is where he needs to be.

Eichel and Matthews Both were on a 93 point pace this year, if they played with Mcdavid 36 percent of the time, they would do even more damage than Drai.

Ill tell you straight up as a Jets fan that Wheeler is not top 15 anymore (just based off of this list maybe in the 15th spot instead of Hoffman), Kyle Connor is too high. Ehlers deserves to be up on the LW more than Kyle Connor does. Also Couts, Point and Pettersson need to be way higher. Also Crosby>Draisaitl and you can make a strong argument for Matthews>Draisaitl

Marchand just at least be at 2. Switch Crosby and Draisaitl. I don't know how you can have Couturier over Kopitar. Too soon for Yammamoto to be on here. IMO

He played 64 games this year and took 670 faceoffs for a 47.8% his career high.
Just to put that in comparison.
Crosby played 41 games this year, took 888 faceoffs and a 55.6%.
Matthews 70 games 921 54.9%

Before you can call any player "dominate" they have to be THE MAN.
and McDavid isn't the man.
He's not the guy they send out there in every situation when the team needs to win. They don't send him to play defense in the clutch. They don't send him to do face offs.
It is what it is. He collects points. Don't ask him to do much else.

Yamamoto isn’t top 15 after like 20 games. I think Draisaitl is better than both Eichel and Matthews. Barkov should be higher.

I think Giroux is a pretty big snub at LW

Pretty solid list, couple of thoughts:

Bergeron is too high
Coots is too low
I'd swap Pasta and Kuch
Hall is too high, had one good season
Laine could be moved down a couple spots

Probably a couple other shifts but its a solid list no doubt

How is Rust that high on RW? I wouldn’t even have him on the list. Svech also seems a little high

Draisaitl outscored McDavid this year whether together or apart. Here are some other players you might recognize:

Rust isn't even close to top 15 and Guenzel is a bit too high.
