Mitts will truly turn into nothing if he is playing on the 4th line

The second should be enough for Strome. Gilmour is not a regular NHL defenseman.

Pit declines. They could get a lot more for Murray than a 2nd and a bust

I really don’t understand why everyone is saying a 2nd is enough for Strome? Rangers don’t have a 2C. Love Chytil, but as of now he has not proven yet that he can jump in as the 2C. He is only 20, but was on pace for 32 pts this past season, Strome played very well with Panarin. If Chytil does not play well with Panarin there’s a problem. Money clearly is going to be an issue next season for NYR. I’m not saying they HAVE to keep Strome, but a 2C who can play well with Panarin OR if they put Zib with Panarin, they’ll need a 2C to play with CK and Kakko or Buch if they can find a way to keep him.

Murray for Thompson, 2nd

Pitt says no.

If you want the player going out to be Thompson then it needs to be with a 1st (not 2020). If you don't want to send a 1st then it needs to be a considerably better prospect (top-5)

I dont have a place for him in this lineup. He should be in ROCH. If he shows significant improvement, then thats a different story. Guess we'll just have to see.

Gilmour was solid in his very minimal time up. He needs to consistently play and grab some more ice to be a nhl ready d-man, which I believe him to be, given the chance.

The Rangers gave him an extended look a couple of years ago and he got run over defensively. He is 27 years old. Has been a good offensively in the AHL, bit even there he struggled in his own end immensely. That is why he has not received a longer look at the NHL level despite debuting in the ahl 4 years ago

2020 2nd is just enough for Strome straight up.
