The rangers don’t decline. They’re selling extremely high on 2 mediocre pieces. Rangers make out like bandits in that trade.

On what planet? Gaudreau is a straight choke artist come playoffs, and NYR are giving up their 2C, an elite puck moving dman a 1st and 3rd for Gaudreau and a grinder. I’m not even a fan of the Rangers and I think it is an awful trade for them.

Look through the ACGM for the Rangers, a ton of them have Chityl taking over 2 C and moving Strome. They seem to have the confidence in him to do it.

They also have a replacement 2C in Chityl, the have Trouba and Fox on the right and are going to pay the snot out of Fox. Rangers are probably set up better to have Gaudreau than Calgary if he would play with Kreider and Zibanijad or Panarin he is in a way better spot to produce than with Monahan.

I think his point was the Rangers already have Panarin and Kreider, and neither of them are getting moved anytime soon. Gaudreau is obviously a star player, but the Rangers have more important holes in their roster to fill.

NYR don't want Bennett in this deal. Hanifin would be the guy since DeAngelo is being moved. If not I don't see why they do it.

That's great. Chytil hasn't done anything for me to like him at 2C so we'll see what happens. If I'm wrong I'm wrong. In the meantime I'm going to continue making Cirelli OS's and keeping him at 3C.

Well, Kreider compliments Panarin better IMO. Johnny plays a similar style to that of Panarin. Kreider adds anther dimension to the top 6 on the left side.

For most people it was his stretch with kreider and buch when mika was injured where the 3 were absolutely on fire, rags fans would love to keep them together and get to play AP with mika
