For Nylander I think it takes this year's 1st and Jokiharju.

Or this year's 1st and next year's 1st unprotected

Not worth it for the Sabres. Nylander struggles defensively, has played primarily wing at the NHL level and is likely a 50 - 60 point player when not playing with Matthew's or Tavares. He is worth 8th o/a and a depth player or a B prospect. Anything more than that and it is not worth the Sabres time.

Not a problem Toronto keeps Nylander. Dont think he gets moved unless Toronto gets a top pairing RHD.

If Carolina isn’t interested perhaps Edmonton could jump in. I know he’s not a sexy name but Larsson is exactly what Toronto would want and be significantly cheaper moving forward than Hamilton. I actually think Edmonton won the hall for larsson trade his presence has stabilized the back end and allowed youth to actually succeed now it’s become a position of strength. Large part credited to larsson. I’m expecting hate simply because of how undervalued I feel d like him are around here.

Well they probably are going to lose to the Rangers that’s just my opinion. They could potential have two picks in the top 10. With endless of possibilities with two first round picks in a good draft.

This is horrible for the Canes. Buffalo gets a PPG winger signed to a good deal. TOR gets a PPG RHD signed long term. Canes get the eighth best dart throw in the draft? Buffalo needs to add. Toronto needs a small add.

It’s been well established that TOR has to add this was just the base.

Kinda nonsensical when this fathom extension doesn't include the $$$ and term. Not sure the Leafs can afford it or even want Hamilton. Of course I want to be in the conversation where the Canes tell Hamilton to sign an extension just so he can be traded to the Leafs. Then if he doesn't sign, he's welcome back as a Cane.

Like add in a player or more picks?

I think Buffalo has to send something to each team -- maybe Jokiharju to Carolina and UPL to Toronto?

It wouldn’t be worth it for Buffalo. Jokiharju is their best RHD and UPL is a couple years away.

So we trade the 8th overall pick, a 20 year old stud RHD and our top goalie prospect for nylander?

No thank you

I know it's not exact, but you have to admit that Nylander is worth more than Jokiharju and UPL; the question is How much more? I agree that 8th overall is too high a pick to include in this package (and if you've been paying attention, you know that I have been consistent in arguing that Buffalo shouldn't trade that pick, especially for some of the "offers" from other CapFriendly ACGMs), but we both know that if that were the 24th overall pick, you guys would do it in a heartbeat.
