Wennberg is a cap dump they don’t need to add a lot.
Ristolainen will always be playing top line minutes if he stays.

I'll be surprised if someone doesn't offer Dadonov more money or more term or both. I think he'll get somewhere around $5 million for three or four years.

Toronto matches that OS easily. That contract can fully be buried in the AHL or he can be traded for a pick. No reason not to match.

Bean is gonna coat you more than that, Arizona trade is declined, keeping the 1A/1B tandem is much better for them if they cant make cap for Hall anyways

Absolutely no reason to offer sheet that guy either

Not gonna argue that. If you're gonna offersheet it should at least be a significant player.

I agree Lazar proved he belongs in the NHL, but if Gauthier could be had at no cost, he would also add depth.
He did help with the Leafs PK and only had a 20.8% OZS.
While I think the Leafs would match, if they did not it would be a good pick up.

It's just a one year deal for him to get paid more once the cap goes up. 4.5 mil for 1 year is good money for him.

They probably do but I could make it 1.3 mil and it might be more difficult for them. No way they match and play him in the AHL, he's an NHL player now.

Bean shouldn't cost more than a good RW prospect and a move 31 picks higher in the draft. He did great in the AHL but hasn't proven anything in the big time yet. Arizona has Hill who is NHL ready and has put up very good numbers. Arizona gets a playmaker in the trade and a guy who can score 15-20 goals.

Lazar is fine but Gauthier gives us better depth and is a solid PKer

Why wouldn't Toronto just trade Gauthier for a low pick instead of getting nothing?

Not a chance Dadanov takes that little unless he wants to win a cup on a cup contender.

He's getting pretty old. He'll want term on his next contract.

Lower term for Dadanov --> higher AAV.

It's not like he a bad year that he needs to take a 1 year prove yourself deal.
