Luke Hughes can't play defense while Hreshcuk excels in his own zone.
I'd argue both Schmidt and Behrens are better then Hughes as well.

I'm still confused on why his stock has dropped so much in the last couple of months before the season ended. I'm not sure what's changed in scouts eyes.
