The offersheet would have to start at 10 million to have a shot at Barzal, no deal

as good as barzal is no player really gets that many good pieces in return. i can't see the habs giving up 9th overall, caufield, and domi.

This isn't an offersheet situation...it's a trade (smh).
Me, personally, I'd prefer other players to Barzal. He's a good player but the Habs have got to get bigger. I also wouldn't want to trade away the number9 pick.

Mete isn't worth the #32 pick get real here, And fat chance of Krug signing with Montreal. All Canadian teams are on his no trade list. It was already reported at the trade deadline that Krug doesn't want to play in Canada.

Habs don’t need to get bigger they need to get more consistent. The east is more fast and skilled than the west. The Habs won 18 of 46 games vs the east. They actually played better against western teams. They need a top 2C(Depends on If you want Suzuki as a winger or C), middle 6 winger and a top 4 LD all that have some consistency to their game and the habs could be a playoff team. Domi, Drouin, Mete and KK all have that potential but none of them have really been able to reach it.

Your right none of Drouin, Mete and KK have had a break out. Domi on the other hand did have a break out year last season and could have built on that if he was played as 2C this season. Also I feel like Drouin and KK are going to amaze a lot of people in the play in from the reports and comments that have come out of camp.

Mete isn't worth the 32nd pick in this years draft. Mete was a 4th round pick and he's a solid NHL defenseman. I think he has already out played his draft position. He is only 22 and defensemen take longer to develop and hit their peak. Compare KK to the rest of his draft class link below. Most players regress a bit after their breakout season, There is a very good chance Domi get to or passes his best season to date. I think it is way too soon to give up and trade these 3 guys for whatever you can get. PATIENTS!!!!
